Calderra

‎"Calderra" ~ RER

Calderra came down the mountain
Freshly widowed child beside
Buck board toting casket
Her good mans final ride

To lay to rest in the valley
From the fertile soil he came
In shallow grave she leave him
No marker for his name

Oh Calderra.... the Widowed Bride
Oh Calderra... took a ride

Alone in the terrestrial
Bounds upon the earth
Her broken soul in mourning
In question of the worth

In reassuring glances
To comfort baby's sighs
Calderra climbed to the mountain
Before the sun could rise

Oh Calderra ... the Widowed Bride
Oh Calderra ... took a ride

Unto the Well she hastened
Vengeance in her mind
Into the spring was added
The bitter of the Nine

To the woods retreated
The Nines she did share
Now babe and she departed
In death there be no care

Oh Calderra ... the Widowed Bride
Oh Calderra ... took the ride ..................................
