There's a red wreath in our Kitchen
Only decoration in our home
No Christmas Tree again this year
Santas gonna leave this house alone

We ain't seen Daddy
Since the first leaves fell
And Mommas
Barely holding the line

Little Brother and Sister
Too young to understand
Bout going without
At Christmas time

But we 'll hold hands all night
We'll sing silent night
Momma will hold us
So near

We'll draw the covers up
Give thanks to The Lord Above
And hope that Santa
Comes Next Year

It ain't so bad
When you have one another
Momma says there are those
That don't

It ain't so bad
To love the ones who love you
Momma says there are those
That won't

Now we're grown
And Mommas gone to heaven
And Christmas time
Is here again

We all have families
Who cherish simple things
And know that LOVE
Is the best gift there is

And WE hold  hands all night
We sing silent night
We hold one another
So near

We draw the covers up
Give thanks to The Lord Above
And see our old Santa
Every Year

Love is Santa every year
